SIU released its 2011-12 men's and women's basketball schedules this morning, unveiling a slate that features 16 home games for the men and 14 for the women this season. Men's basketball will open the season with four of their first six regular-season games at home. Included in those games are matchups with traditional rivals St. Louis Nov. 15 and Western Kentucky Dec. 7. The men also begin a new home-and-home series with SIUE when they host the Cougars Dec. 19.
