A local man is facing a range of felony charges after allegedly fighting at a strip club, damaging a pair of vehicles and then fighting again with responding deputies.
Authorities arrested Michael L. Carwile, 25, after responding around 1:36 a.m. Sept. 20 to a 911 call originating at Club Coyote in De Soto. The call consisted of loud talking and yelling, but upon arrival, deputies found there had been a fight and one person was bleeding.
Carwile, who reportedly was involved with the fight, had been escorted outside, where he proceeded to allegedly damage two vehicles and then get involved in a fight with another person. He also allegedly fought with deputies during his arrest. One deputy sustained minor injuries and was treated at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.
Carwile was charged with multiple felonies and was taken to the Jackson County Jail.
