Submitted by Carbondale Times on

A Carbondale man has been sentenced to prison after pleading guilty to burglary charges, Jackson County State’s Attorney Michael Carr announced Friday.

Timothy Hubbert, 25, pleaded guilty to one count of residential burglary Thursday and was sentenced to five years in prison.

Carr said on Jan. 31, 2016, a residence in the 500 block of Mill Street in Carbondale was burglarized. Officers with the Carbondale Police Department determined the perpetrator entered through an unlocked window. Carr said the fingerprints officers found were determined to be Hubbert’s after being analyzed by the Illinois
State Police.

After his release, Hubbert will serve two years of mandatory supervised release and be placed in the Illinois Impact Incarceration Program through the Department of Corrections.
